About the Photographer Since I was a child, I had always wanted to be a photographer. I had a few distractions along the way but when I was finally able to purchase my first real camera, I realized my childhood dream would become a reality. I found myself on a rewarding journey utilizing my talents and abilities to produce the kind of images that not only document but also speak. I began this journey with a simple Minolta SLR, which I still enjoy using today. After a few months of practice I decided to enroll into some classes at the community college. I quickly discovered that photography was more than just pushing a button and making sure that no one's head was cut-off. It entailed many layers of technical knowledge and hard work to create a consistent image. Photography was to become more than just a hobby or past-time for me. That technical training prepared me for my next big step, enrolling into the visual arts program at University of Maryland-Baltimore County. My education here allowed me to take a concept and formulate it into a visual representation, my photographs began to speak and not just document. These two different approaches allowed me to develop a fluid and varied
style. In this way, I am able to adapt to a variety of situations to produce
beautiful, high quality images. Contact Information
